Indecisive thought

It's never to late to greet happy new year 2018, right? even I am 5 months late for updating my blog.
This time I won't list down any resolution but I will push myself towards the better me instead of getting skinny. I do blogging when I feel like I want to share some of my deep feeling through words, not just for review or showing how passionate I am with fashion. And now it is a perfect time for me to share some of my deep thought during the last few months.

One month from now, I will be twenty five years old - and to be honest, I am still lost in this complicated mind. What do I want? Who I want to be? What can I do? Am I in the right path? Is this what I want? The future seems scary but what should I do? Am I ready for this?. Growing old doesn't mean I know what I want to be.. And taking a leap seems scary even people often say.. it is your time to not be in the comfort zone. Time doesn't repeat, you can't go back to the past. The only thing I am sure about is, I have to travel & save up & do my bucket list (watching concert). I know I am not that typical 25, that you expect that I am the adult and I know much more than the kids just like what I imagine when I am still a kid/teenager. But it is proven that I am very wrong..

Another things that bother me is people perspective of judging. It's kinda hard for me to accept, if what people thought of me is wrong. I know it very well again now, wherever you go - we will always be judge even what we do is right. There is no right or wrong. People judge. Come on Veronyca you can do it, let it be and only you who know it is right and try to take it positively instead sucking myself to negativity.

Hairstyle, I cut my hair shorter and loving it. Still into grey and purple but I figure it is better to save my Money for something more useful and I am kinda like my current hair too. As dualipa style is my inspiration aww and I'm liking her hairstyle and fashion and music.

I am struggling with beauty product, really its hard for me to find a proper skin care that will suit my skin. removing blemish and acne scar, oh my god. I have committed and my a promise to myself, if I ever find a skincare that can make my face back to normal - I am gonna keep promoting it and do my very honest review. My skin type is combination, more to oily. And the ordinary is not suitable for me.. which is sad and it makes my skin breakout.

Early marriage is not my thing. I won't settle till I get what I want and be successful (more money). I will never be a housewife - I just can't .. unless I am marrying a prince lol. Cause having you own money is better, you save and you spend on what you want, instead of asking your husband to pay for everything you want (it's not good). I am learning a lot from my boyfriend of who taught me how to be independent women and a women with career & goal.

Fashion, some people think I am weird in my choice of outfit but I am not. The only thing that keep me lively in this city and working is my passion in fashion and photography. I am more active in my Instagram, and it is wonderful how this passion lead me to know more about people who share the same passion as me and the way we wore and style our fashion is just free. I get to know wonderful people and learning more about people with no age limit. And getting older will not stop me for exploring and styling my kind of own fashion - I will keep sharing my passion and yes I am working on my youtube video very soon (my first lookbook video) with the help of my friend Cinthy Kwok. Yuhuuuu.. ok I will I will let you guys know once its up !

People, I am still grateful of all the people around me and still stay with me through up and down of my twenties. And personally, I never forget the people (my close friend) that who makes me feel free and how to be my real self even in my worst mood or happy. You guys are the best, in your twenties - it is really hard to find a true friend. And I am grateful I have them.

Me and Jessy Xu

Crossing the road, ok I am afraid of crossing the road alone. Before reaching 25, I will share my current lookbook ootd shot with my talented friend Bryan Jonathan ! And THANKS to him, I got to try something new like our current shot with the background of our hometown "Medan". People who look at us will think.. we are crazy. Are they not afraid of getting rob? and if we actually take care of our hometown, everything is not scary as it seems and our crime rates will not as high as now. Walking the streets in our hometown even scare us, and all of us prefer using grab/taxi to anywhere instead of walking down the pedestrian path. If you look at around, some corner of our city is not that slack and here is the shot that I get with the background of our city "Medan". (fyi: it is so hard to get a shot in the zebra cross, red traffic light - these people don't care and just go straight pass the traffic.."speechless"). ok, here it is:

What I wear
Top: Monki
Skirt: Pomelo Fashion
Bag: Pomelo Fashion

Rebellious heart

A little break is good enough to ease your state of mind.
Well it happened almost every year ever since I graduated from my degree. Every time of the year when it comes to my birthday, I'll be very very gloomy and unstable. And turn out this year, I have a very hard month to go through. I don't really understand myself to, so I was wondering around doing my hectic job as an analyst to distract my current state of mind. I don't even do any outfit photoshoot as seen of my rare post in Instagram that mostly during june-july, I posted the throwback picture.
I may lost, moody, overthink, procrastinating, sensitive towards anything, clumsy, uncontrolled emotion, wildest imagination and many more.

Sorry for the negative thought for the introduction part of the post.
Just to let you guys keep updated, what happen during my blogging break time. I was fighting my own self and emotion, being negative all the time. Not in the good state to write a blog, well maybe reaching 24 years old is a little harder for me to accept. Being actually young adult, not that rebellious teenager anymore! So yeah, more responsibility and thought that I think that I will never ever think of in my life.

But well I did past the month of July, and able to do a photoshoot with my friends. This time I'll be just stay true to who I am, what I like, what I love. That "Rebellious teenager" ! I Dye my bleach hair into ashy purple and ready to rock just like a Kpop girlband Blackpink (maybe?) . Never too old for trying out something new and show my love to street style. I am not a feminine person, so for me to pose freely in a feminine style is quite challenging. But for street style, I just go with the flow and dang it, I can't hide my over excitement feeling when I saw the result. Guess what? Being who you are is a privilege of lifetime. Even till now we all hides those true feelings inside that tiny boxes inside you and keep them safe. In order to not get anyone hurts, or even yourself. We all have that wildest dream, thought and feelings deep inside that you can't control but you keep it hidden. No one is perfect. Yes, this is part of growing up to be better and maybe when the time has come where you actually able to express it. You have nothing to fear anymore, and being true to yourself, being who you are.

Here are some snaps from my latest street style photoshoot. I pair my fav lazy to go t-shirt with corset and oversize jeans jacket with ripped jeans and platform shoes. A touch of pink sunnies and hat to show a little different color tone and not too mono for white and jeans.

Special thanks to Jessy Xu & Sanny Xu for helping dye my purple ombre hair. And the make up by Jessy Xu. Thanks to Tiffany Kongadian for dragging me out from my comfort zone and it was a fun photoshoot with you. Many more photoshoot to come !

Blogging is one of my way to ease my hectic mind. And being true to yourself is one of the greatest thing you can achieve. Hopefully I am able to share a very positive content in the next post. till next post - adios.

Stay

I always in a dilemma when choosing the right title for a blog post.
Cause i have to choose the right title and it has to related with the post.

This post will mainly focus on my last photo shoot i had with my friend (Devin and Mardy) - They are actually a food photographer and yes you guys can visit their Instagram just click on their name, it will direct you guys to their Instagram page and tons of finger licking good shot that will make your stomach grumbling.

Street style always been my favorite, it doesn't really look feminine and have a touch of boyish. It's like pop out in my head that wore that sneakers than heels. But some street style play more to chic than boyish such as ripped jeans match with heels and add gorgeous necklace with plain t shirt, floppy hat. Mine is more to boyish, playful and young.

When we are in love with fashion, age is not big matter for our fashion game. I can look young or classy, its up to us. I am 23 soon turning 24 this year, but i still love looking young and playful rather than wearing office pants.

A little talk for this title, Why i named this post "Stay" ?
Stay can mean in a good way and bad way. It can be ambiguous. Stay as who you are with that positive attitude or Stay bad as you are now. For me i want to stay young, i want the best people in my life stay with me. Stay good and Leave the bad habit of mine, Change to be better not worst. And for the people who chose to stay with me, i am grateful. Even we are far apart, just so you know i will stay and be there for you when you need me. This title will be my reminder for 2017.

Back to the main topic.
This look is inspired by some Korean drama that i watched, and when i received this dope oversize bomber jacket from my best-friend - Melissa, right away i know i have to match it with my crop hoodie which give a bit touch of hippie vibes. But to make it more playful and young vibes, i pair it with my favorite tennis skirt. And of course sneakers to make it perfect.

F/W seasons moving forward to S/S seasons, and in the midst of it hoodies has been on the trend, and every fashion lover must know that its a must have item in this seasons with range from oversize hoodies (or you can steal it from your boyfriend), crop or any hoodies. Its very comfortable, and effortless. And 2016 its a year for Adidas "again", well even i didn't get the chance to purchase NMD as long as i got Adidas sneaker - it's good enough for me. And my favorite Adidas Baseball Cap (My favorite hat piece). Don't you think it just match? When you match your outfit with the same brand especially athletic brand, sometimes it just weird when you wear Nike sneakers but you pair it with Adidas hat. I did that before, since that time i didn't own any Adidas sneakers but now I do ! Looking forward for more sneaker collection this year.
