Beauty Review: Cleansed by Nivea

Hi readers,

This time, I will talk about my latest review on one of the affordable but yet super good (include in my one of the best make up remover list) which is “Nivea”. Well you must knew this brand really well as your daily body lotion of your choices. However, there is actually other product from them that really impressed me. They just launch their face cleanser set, and not gonna lie it suits for sensitive skin like me. I am going to show the hampers I received:

Let me introduce you some of the set I received:

Let me start introducing NIVEA newest product ! Their duo cleansing weapons Makeup Clear Micellar Water & Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover.

I always try to avoid a cleanser with oil based, because I have a quite oily skin and sensitive. I have those blemish that quite producing an oily face of mine, so I am trying to avoid any cleanser with oily based. However, Double effect eye make up remover suits my sensitive skin in the eye area and really cleansed in just one swipe. I will show you the result ! Moreover, most of the eye makeup remover I ever try with the same price range of Nivea one, I try to compare it but Nivea quality is unbeatable. My mascara is easily remove and doesn't left black shadow stain in the eye area. So yeah, I am very satisfied with the result NIVEA !!! totally above my expectation.

Moving on to another highlight of NIVEA newest product, MICELLAR WATER. With this huge bottle and the price and the quality, I think I will stay with it. What I like of this product is that it easily clean my makeup so usually I am using bb cream, concealer, blush, highlighter(lots-lots), lipstick, contour and bronze. I need to swipe my face with cotton more than 2 times using this product. It doesn't mean a bad quality - its quite impossible for make up remover to be able to clean clearly in one swipe ( I don't believe it and so did you, right? ). Oh yeah and this makeup remover is not oil based! What I think they should improve is that their formula of moisturizing skin.

Well for the foam cleanser, i am not too favor of it because its kinda dry for my sensitive skin. the formula is a lil bit too strong for my sensitive face with blemish area. But yes it is really clean indeed, but it doesn't suit me cause its too dry. The moisturizing day serum is quite helpful, it actually help brighten up my skin because my face is become quite dull because of all the make up and this serum just like vitamin that boost up my skin before wearing heavy makeup.

Lotion, of course I don't need to review it right? everyone knew that their lotion is one of the best local brand. And no doubt, for sure it suits to everyone skin. And boost your skin, because yes we really need to put some lotion as we are living in the world that the weather is unexpected and since the global warming - the sun rays and heat really can damaged our skin. Thus, we need to protect our body skin with body lotion and of sunblock.

Let's move on and see the result:

So here still with makeup, before cleansing it with NIVEA Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover.

After, you see my eyeshadow, mascara and eyebrow (left eyes) result after clean using NIVEA Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover. As below result:

Then, moving on to:

So I cleaned my face using NIVEA Micellar Water - yes perfectly clean and now you see my red blemish scar and no makeup face. (excuse my round face)

To conclude,their NVEA Micellar Cleansing Water & NIVEA Double Effect Makeup Remover is totally recommended and worth the money. Affordable yet the quality is reach above my expectations  - 7/10. Not to forget their NIVEA Moisturizing Day Serum also recommended, it really help to reduce dull face that cause by acne scar and excessive oil ! For the lip butter, I haven't try it so I cannot give my review and opinion of it for now.

Beauty Review: PIXY Truly Asian Beauty Makeover !

As refer to my latest post about PIXY Event (click here to see my previous blog post).
I would like to share and review few products I got from PIXY along with their new beautiful lip cream colors. SUPER EXCITED! cause i will be doing a special look using PIXY Product. Let's get over the soft silhouette and feminine look, and turn it into a darker make up style. Since I was so inspired by the latest colors of the lip cream: Edge Plum and Bold Maroon.

What I love about PIXY Product is that the product is clinically proven and it suits the south east asian type of skin.  Besides, they use Japanese ingredients to create products that would help us achieve the flawless Japanese looks that we've all been wanting without worrying on spending too much because their product are in super affordable price. FYI, i can not lie but i really do love the lip cream and the two way cake cover smooth.

Let's get started !
Bare faced for before and after.

Don't forget to apply toner before applying the PIXY UV Whitening TWO WAY CAKE Cover Smooth which i got in color (04) Natural Peach. At first, i do not expect that this will cover my entire reddish blemish very well but it turns out - it did! You can refer directly to below photos, half of it was cover by TWC Cover smooth.

with optimum protection from the sun light SPF30 and PA+++, no need to be afraid of doing outdoor activity. The SQUALANE OIL also prevents skin from drying by moisturizing it. When I am in rush, TWC Cover smooth is the perfect soulution to get that instant smooth look and whitening face. so i just simply put toner as my based make up and tap on PIXY TWC Cover Smooth, then you are good to go!

However, if you have a plenty of time to do your makeup - you can put toner, sunblock or foundation first then apply PIXY TWC Cover Smooth to reach that perfect no-more-blemish look. This compact powder is really useful especially when you are sweating and ruining your makeup look (it's like disaster), just tap on your face using PIXY TWC Cover - Gotcha! you will look flawless and smooth up to 10 hours. Well, it actually depends on what activity you are doing.

After whitening and cover my blemish, it's time to create the sharp look ! As you can see, I have a very round face - genetics from my dad lol. Or because i ate too much noodle?!. Thus, I want to look sharp and perfecting my natural face shape using the PIXY Highlight and Shading.



I simply apply on my cheek bone, nose area and a bit on my side forehead. For me, this contour pack does give a good impression on me cause it really help shaping my cheek bone and it is perfect for a beginner like me. I learn my contouring skill using this highlighter and shading. It does quite blend in with my TWC Cover smooth compact powder.

Then, moving on PIXY eye shadow. For your information, i do not use any primer on my eyelid. PIXY did a really good job on this, as you can see - the colors pop out. But you have to apply more on the dark brown colors so the look will be more visible. Basic colors and perfect for casual outing and beginner!

Lastly, PIXY LIP CREAM. For this look, i decided to try BOLD MAROON as it synchronizes with my outfit. As i told you in the very beginning, i am trying to avoid the soft look and create a more darker look or this can also be consider as Harajuku style / Gothic look. What surprises me is... this lip cream really matte but it does not dry up my lip. so i do not have to apply lip balm before using this PIXY Lip cream. The textures of PIXY Lip Cream is creamy, soft, light, very pigmented and give a satin finish on your lips. And its sweet scent! And why i love this lip cream? Because the color stays several hours even after eat and drink , so this is a plus value for lipstick and lip cream collector like me.

Tadaa here is my finish look, and of course i do not forget to use PIXY Aqua Beauty Protecting Mist with triple beauty protection: Antioxidant, Moisturize and long lasting your makeup look up to 8 hours.

So here is my final gothic make up look using PIXY Truly Asian Beauty - Beauty Box.

And of course, after you are done with your activity. Do not forget to remove your makeup before shower or going to bed. So here i am using PIXY Eye and Lip makeup remover. No more doubt, cause it really clear my whole makeup look - you can see it from below photos as a proved.

Then, Do not forget to wash your face using your preferable cleanser. Or you can try using PIXY Facial scrub DULL-OFF POLISH to make sure overcome dull skin by reducing excess oil, remove dead skin cells and make the face look brighter.

To conclude, Unexpectedly PIXY has reach above my expectation. With affordable price, i already can get the special look and for quality is quite good cause it does not irritates my skin hence of my very sensitive skin. My most favorite product from the Beauty Box is PIXY LIP CREAM and PIXY UV WHITENING Two Way Cake Cover Smooth. As you can tell, i really love doing photo shoot outdoor and PIXY TWC Cover Smooth really help me fixed my makeup since i sweat a lot. And PIXY LIP CREAM - the color is very pigmented and it does not fade easily when i ate or drink. So yeah thumbs up for PIXY. Hence, PIXY is an Indonesian manufactured makeup brand. I am proud of being Indonesian and I love Indonesia product.

Pixy Express Your Truly Asian Beauty Event in Medan

Hi Fellow Readers!

Last Saturday (18/03/2017), I attended Pixy Product Launching in Medan at Plaza Medan Fair with other Fashion and Beauty blogger. The Dress code for this event are Pastel pink or blue, Cause if you are Indonesian or Been living in Indonesia for so long - you must have know this famous beauty product brand "Pixy" which is very known as their pastel color packaging and very popular in our times.And now they have come out with more and upgraded variant of beauty product!

Pixy is very well know for their beauty product that focusing on Asian look. To be precise, Japanese make up which you can see from the packaging itself - a hints of cherry blossoms! Asian prefer a bright, fresh and a very younger look. Definitely fitted with Indonesia fashion and make up trend.

The rundown of the event itself is so interesting cause thanks to this event, i gained a lot of knowledge! So I would like to thanks to our "Medan Beauty Gram" Community for inviting me to this event, as if you are staying in Medan and a blogger - please do not hesitate to join our Beauty and Fashion Blogger Community.

Ok, Let's get back to the topic - Pixy Product Launching Event!
This event is very special because Pixy invited one of the famous beauty blogger in Indonesia - Miharu Julie. I swear she is so pretty and she really look like Japanese. Miharu Julie shares a lot about her profession as beauty blogger and give us a tips (newbie in blogging world) how to gain followers, readers and visitors to your personal blog and Instagram. A little bonus, she gave a tips how to create a pretty flatlay using beauty product such as lipstick, mask, and etc. And we even get a chance to ask about anything that we are curious about in the blogging world or profession as blogger.

Then, after sharing session was done. Pixy Indonesian couldn't stop showering us with surprises cause they invited their brand ambassador Mikha Tambayong for A Beauty Class with Miharu Julie. The moment when Mikha came out to the stage, the crowd was cheering for her include us / me. Mikha appear with a bare face (no make up), she doesn't embarrassed or hesitate at all sitting in the stage without makeup as an actress.

Miharu Julie did a makeup for Mikha using Pixy product. And she nailed it ! The lip cream was the bomb, cause the color just pop out and it didn't look crack or very dry in the lips. The result itself proved that Pixy have a very good quality as they standardized their product in Tokyo-Japan. It really match with our Indonsian / Southeast Asia skin and style. Thus, Mikha Tambayong look very lovely that day with a magic hand from Miharu Julie.

Last but not least, Another surprises came out when i know i won the live tweet competition. As blogger we get the chance to tweet about the event in our personal account using the hashtag #PIXYTRULYASIANBEAUTY #PIXYAsianbeautyblogger

Beauty Review: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

Hi everyone,
As you seen from the title, this will be my very new section of my blog post which is "Beauty Review" ! Now that i have learn more about make up and skincare that suit my skin. I would like to give more review about beauty product and anything that i believe worth to be review about. Since this is my very first time doing a beauty review, i would like apologizes if my content is still missing or do not meet your expectation.

This time, i would like to introduce the popular Korean brand "Laneige Water Sleeping Mask"! You guys may heard this or even using this mask right now and you guys must know why this beauty mask is checked as one of my favorite beauty product.
What i love about it, it moisturize my skin on night and trust me or not, when i woke up i feel like i have a brighter skin, fresh face, dewy and bouncy - glowing! This mask is used twice a week or once a week, if you have a dry face perhaps you can do it twice a week. This mask does not feel like tightened your face like ordinary mask - as it stated just like applying water and it is very soft and gave cold effect on your skin. 

 

I have been using this product for 2 months, Somehow I have less acne problems and it helps my skin especially when we have less sleep. It keeps my face hydrated ! Once you put on it, your skin will look glowing. I would like to give a thanks to my close friend who recommended me this product and encourage me to try it. Hopefully i will look younger than my actual age !You know who you are Carmen and Jessy ! No regrets at all.

I feel like once you get older, you will need to pamper your skin more. I am also an acne fighter, i have acne scar all over my cheek so pardon my bare face. But still the most important part is you have to be grateful of what you have and confident of how you look with or without make up. Inner beauty still won it all, cause outer beauty can be faded.

Here are some picture to prove, i have less acne problem now and bright skin.

Let's start it with clean face - no make up on just bare it out!

Applying time

Spread gently along the texture of your face using outward strokes. After the product is absorbed into skin, leave it on overnight without washing the face.

After

Tadaaaa - I feel freshed and I am ready for work with this glowy and bright face !

Thanks to the sun as the lighting, my acne scar is cover ! but still it feel fresh, soft and brightened !
